About these terms
These terms apply to your use of CRICKET SCORING (the āsiteā), which is run by CRICKET SCORING (āweā, āusā, āourā).
By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information and forms part of these terms.
Using the site
The site publishes live scores, scorecards, fixtures, results, statistics, rankings and player and team profiles for cricket associations and their competitions. You can use it free of charge, without an account, for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
You are responsible for the devices and connection you use to reach the site, and for making sure anyone who uses it through your connection knows about and follows these terms.
Scores and statistics
Scores are entered ball by ball by scorers at the ground, and statistics are calculated from what they record. We and the associations work hard to keep them accurate, but live scores can be delayed, interrupted or corrected during or after a match, and statistics may change as a result. The official result of a match is the one confirmed by the association running the competition.
The site is provided for information and enjoyment. It must not be relied on for betting, gambling or any other financial decision. We give no guarantee that the information is complete, accurate or up to date. If you spot a mistake, please let us know.
Accounts
Accounts are given, by invitation, to association administrators, scorers and officials. If you have one, you must:
- keep your password, two-factor codes and passkeys private, and not share your account;
- enter scores and match information honestly and accurately, and only for the matches and competitions you are authorised to manage;
- use personal information about players and officials only to run the competition, and handle it in line with data protection law and your associationās instructions; and
- tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
You are responsible for what is done through your account. Your association may also have its own rules for scorers and officials.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the site in any way that breaks the law or is fraudulent or harmful;
- try to get unauthorised access to the site, its servers, accounts or data, or test its security without our written permission;
- use robots, scrapers or other automated means to copy, extract or monitor content or data in bulk, except for search engines indexing public pages;
- interfere with the siteās working, overload it or introduce viruses or other harmful material;
- send spam, abuse or misleading messages through the contact form; or
- present the siteās content as your own, or suggest that we or an association endorse you when we do not.
Intellectual property
We, or our licensors, own the intellectual property rights in the site, including its design, software, text, graphics and the databases of scores and statistics. Team, club and association names and logos belong to their respective owners.
You may view the site, share links to its pages and quote occasional scores or statistics, for example on social media, as long as you do so for non-commercial purposes and name CRICKET SCORING as the source. Any other copying, republishing or commercial use, including feeding the siteās data into another service, needs our written permission. Contact us if you would like to use our data.
Information you give us
When you send us a message or, as an account holder, enter scores and match information, you confirm that it is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, use, publish and display that information on the site for as long as it runs, so that match records stay complete. We handle any personal information in it as our Privacy Policy describes.

The site may link to other websites and social media, such as those of associations, clubs and sponsors. These links are for convenience only. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.

We may update, change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, including competitions and statistics, at any time and for any reason, such as maintenance or at an associationās request.
We may change these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Please check them whenever you use the site; the terms in force at the time you use it apply.
Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of England and Wales. If you use the site as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
Subject to that:
